To get started accepting payments you will need to create and/or connect an existing Stripe account. This is very easy and the whole process should take no more than a few minutes. 

New to Stripe, follow these instructions

  1. Click studio settings

  2. Click Payments on the left hand side

  3. Click connect with Stripe 

  4. Fill out the information to create Stripe Account

  5. Click " Authorize" Mydoma Studio at the end of the form
    This allows you to accept credit card payments and have the funds automatically deposited into your bank account.

  6.  You're done and will be redirected back to Mydoma Studio
    You'll be notified with 24-48 hours by Stripe to verify your account

Already Have a Stripe Account? 

  1. Click studio settings

  2. Click Payments on the left hand side

  3. Click connect with Stripe 

  4. Log into your existing Stripe Account

  5. Click " Authorize" Mydoma Studio to connect your Stripe account to the Mydoma Studio app.  This allows you to accept credit card payments and have the funds automatically deposited into your bank account.

Credit Card Processing Fees

We know we know, no one likes fees but they are a fact of business and the benefits out way the costs. You can easily roll the fees in or pass the fees onto your client. 

Stripe charges a fee to maintain the payment gateway and constantly work to make sure it is up to date, solid, and secure. Their fees are standard across all payment gateway providers.

Charges per transaction

Stripe Fee's - 2.9% + $0.30 (Learn more about their fees here.)
Mydoma Studio Fee- 1% (Payment gateway maintenance)

When will I receive my funds? 

Typical processing times are different for each customer. Typically transfers are deposited within a few business days.

Can I issue a refund to my customer?

Yes, refunds can be issued by logging into your Stripe dashboard.
