Essential tips for the visualizer

Launching Your Visualizer

Preferences & Set Up

  1. Measurements (1st time- Preferences)

  2. Watermark Preferences

    All Basic Visualizer accounts will have a Mydoma watermark in the bottom left corner of all rendered images.

    Pro Visualizer accounts can turn off or change the default Mydoma watermark! To do this, follow the instructions below:

    1. On the main homepage of your Visualizer account, visit the far left panel and click on Settings > Customization

    2. Uncheck the watermark box if you want NO watermark at all.

    3. If you want your own logo as the watermark, leave the watermark box CHECKED and update the image.

    After your logo is uploaded, it will appear in the lower left corner of your completed renderings. Please note that the logo cannot be repositioned or resized.

Create a Floor Plan

  1. Start a new project (types of projects, draw, import from CAD, import image)

    a. Draw from scratch

    b. Change ceiling height and wall thickness

c. Import a traceable image file

d. Import a CAD file of your floorplan

e. Edit the name and type your room

How to add windows & doors

  1. Change dimensions

  2. Duplicate the model

  3. How to customize windows and doors to a different model

    1. Use arrows to find a different model- quick change out

    2. Go to model library, search and find a model to change it to.

Add paint and flooring

  1. SW paints- where to find

  2. Program flooring & patterns

Apply Baseboards

Add Gable Ceilings

  1. Adjust accordingly (parametric ceiling)

  2. Hide/ unhide ceiling

How to upload a material to your personal library

  1. Seamless texture/ cropping white edges off an image

How to add something to your Favorites

  2. SD always first to test- Show

  3. Tweak things then use HD or 4k- Show

  4. 360 Panorama and 720 Tour (VR)- show
