If this doesn't look like your studio, you may want to try this link.
We’ve built an easy tool for making moodboards. Moodboards are dynamically created by adding products to the proposal, uploading product images from your device, or adding text.
The best part is you can add as many moodboards as you'd like!
How to create a moodboard?
First ensure that the moodboard is turned on as an option in your project features. Then you can click on the "Moodboard" tab. To create a new moodboard you will want to select the option to "add new" at the top right.
From here you can name your moodboard to your heart's desire. Then select the option to save at the bottom right of the pop-up.
Zoom in and out as needed to work on your moodboard! Simply use your scroll wheel on your mouse or laptop.
You can also choose to have your moodboard fit into the window
Or fill the window for better viewing.
You can click and drag the moodboard background to move to another spot within your moodboard when zoomed in or move where the moodboard is centered on your screen when zoomed out.
When zooming out, you'll see a border around your moodboard - these are the parameters of which you can create your moodboards.
To change the name of your moodboard, click in the text field under Title to make the edits you'd like. The new Title will automatically save.
To change the background color, simply click the color you'd like to change it to.
💡💡Pro Tip: Don't like the color options for the moodboard currently? Upload an image of the paint colors and enlarge it to use as a background for your products. If your image is really small use zoom in to adjust the size.💡💡
Want to turn on or turn off gridlines?
Simply check or uncheck the box next to "Show gridlines."
If you want to save your moodboard to your computer as an image, simply click "Download" under Export Canvas.
💡💡Pro Tip: Be sure to do these three things before exporting your moodboard.
Turn off any grid lines
Unselect any items by clicking on the background of the moodboard. You do not want a box around any items within the moodboard
And add your logo!
**Pro-Tip** Create moodboards with just your logo in them when creating a Project Template so you don't have to upload your logo every time!
Make moodboards visible to your clients within their Studio by checking "Publish Moodboard" under Board Settings or by clicking the eyeball icon in the upper right-hand corner of the moodboard.
Want to lock your items, text, and logo into place? Lock your moodboard to ensure you don't accidentally move things around. You can do so under Board Settings or by clicking the lock icon in the upper right-hand corner of the moodboard.
**Note** When deleting a moodboard, this is permanent and cannot be retrieved.
To delete a moodboard, click the three vertical dots on the moodboard you'd like to delete within the Moodboards tab then click "Delete."
You can also delete a moodboard from within the moodboard itself under Board Settings then click "Delete Moodboard."
Adding Products, Images, and Text
To add items you've saved within the project under the Products & Services tab, click "Select Product Image."
You will only see the products you've added to this particular project and all images clipped with the project will be available to add to your moodboard. Click on the images of the products you want to add to the moodboard then click "Save."
**Pro Tip:** Use the filters on the left-hand side to find products faster!
You can also choose to upload images directly to your mood board by selecting "Upload image." These images can be resized and moved just like the product images.
Click "Select image" and upload the image you wish to add.
The Item List will pull the label for the uploaded image(s) from the image's file name which you can change in this menu. To change the image name to something like "paint," click on the dotted line where the image name is, and type in the new desired name. It will auto save the new name you have selected.
Once you've chosen the images you'd like to add, click "Upload."
If you accidentally selected an image you didn't want to add, simply click the red "x" next to the image you'd like to remove.
You can also crop images you upload! Click the crop symbol next to the image you'd like to crop. **Note** Cropping images only applies to images added directly from your computer.
Then drag the corners to your desired cropped photo and click "Done."
Click "Add text."
Add the text you'd like within the text field then click "Add text." This can be the moodboard name, product names, project name, business name, etc.!
Removing Products, Images, or Text
You can remove products from a moodboard by opening up the item list in the right-hand menu of the moodboard.
💡💡Pro Tip: If you click a name in the Item List, it'll highlight the product in the moodboard. If you click an image or text in the moodboard, it'll open up the item name in the Item List.💡💡
Click the “X” in the upper right-hand corner of the product to delete it from the moodboard. **Note** The product will still remain in the Products & Services list within the project.
Arranging, Resizing, and Rotating Images and Text
Product Images will automatically be placed on top of one another. You can either double click an image or text to select it or click the name of the product within the Item List to drag and drop the image or text where you would like it on the moodboard.
**Pro Tip** Move an item to the direct center of your moodboard to adjust the location with ease by clicking the four arrows pointing to a center in the Item List.
You can resize images or text by clicking and dragging from the bottom right-hand corner of the image.
Or rotate images or text by clicking and dragging the arrows at the top.
Resize, rotate, and reorganize your moodboard elements until you’re happy with the final layout.
Editing the Item List
As product images are added to your moodboard they are identified with the image name that it was either clipped or created with. That corresponds to auto generated Item List towards the bottom right-hand side of the page.
If you add or remove products from your moodboard the Item List is automatically updated to reflect these changes.
The label is the image name you assigned to the product when you added it to your catalog, but you can edit it directly on the Item List if you'd like. To change the name of an item within your moodboard, click on the item name you'd like to change within the Item List.
Type in the new Image Name then click the save icon.
