Transactions Page: Overview and How to Use

What is the Transactions Page?

The Transactions page provides a comprehensive overview of your transaction history. On this page, you can easily access important transaction details such as:

  • Transaction ID: A unique identifier for each transaction.

  • Payer: The client associated with the transaction.

  • Transaction Type: Indicates whether the transaction was a Payment, Refund or Return.

  • Payment Method: Shows whether the payment was made via ACH (Automated Clearing House) or Credit Card (CC).

  • Total Transaction: The full amount of the transaction.

  • Transaction Fee: The fee charged for processing the transaction.

  • Net Amount: The amount after the transaction fee is deducted.

Viewing Transaction Details

The Transaction Details Page provides an in-depth view of each transaction, allowing you to access key information quickly. You can access this page by going to Transactions > locate the transaction you want to review > click on the Transaction ID #.

Understanding the Transaction Details Page Layout

On the left-hand side of the page, you will see the following details:

  • Payer & Email Address: The name and email of the client associated with this transaction.

  • Proposal/Invoice #

  • Payment Type & Method: The type of transaction (Payment or Refund) and the payment method used (e.g., ACH or Credit Card).

  • Transaction Total: The full amount of the transaction before fees.

  • Net Amount: The amount after the transaction fee is deducted.

  • Transaction Fee: The fee charged for processing the payment.

On the right-hand side, you’ll find additional transaction details:

  • Payment Date: The date when the payment was created.

  • Settle Date: The date when the funds settled.

  • Batch Date: The date the transaction was disbursed. * You can click on the Batch Date hyperlink to view the Batch Details Page for more information on the disbursement. *

  • Refund Date: If applicable, the date when the refund was processed. * You can click on the Refund Date hyperlink to view the Refund Details Page *

From this page, you also have the option to process a refund by clicking on the Refund button.

Filtering and Searching Transactions

The Transactions page allows you to filter and search for transactions based on different criteria:

  1. Transaction Status: Use the dropdown menu to filter by Processed or Rejected transactions.

  2. Date Range: By default, the transaction date range is set to 30 days. However, you can easily adjust this by clicking on the calendar icon and selecting your desired range of dates.

  3. Keyword Search: To quickly find a specific transaction, use the Keyword Search bar. You can search using:

    • Transaction ID#

    • Proposal or Invoice #

    • Client Name

    • Client Email

Exporting Your Transaction History

You can export your transaction history by clicking the Download Transactions button. The exported file will be emailed to you in a downloadable format, making it easy to keep a record of your transactions for future reference.
