Editing an Invoice

Ready for Client to Pay: This is toggled on (as shown below) when you are ready to invoice your client.

Important: Your client will receive an automatic email notification once Ready for Client to Pay is toggled on.

Public Note: Leave a note for the client by selecting the Public Note option.

These notes are anything you want to include on the invoice that is not already part of the invoice header/footer set in your studio settings.

Once your notes are entered select Save.

Attachments: Attach supporting documents by selecting Add files then upload any documents you want to include with the invoice.

Pro Tip: We find Time Tracking PDF reports work perfectly here.

You can drag and drop files into the area indicated below.

Hit Upload to upload the file(s).

Another option is to select Media Gallery. It will open your computer files and you can Select files you would like to upload.

Hit Select once all files have been chosen.

To conveniently crop an image that is already in your media gallery, select the three dots on the right of the file and click on Crop.

Move the corners to crop the image and select Done.

To remove the background on images, select the three dots on the right of the file and click on Remove Background.

If you wish to rename any files, select the three dots on the right of the file and select Edit File Name. Once you are done, you will click Save.

Once files are uploaded you will have 2 options on the right of each file. The pencil is if you want to Edit File Name. While the "-" is if you would like to remove the file and Delete the image.

**Notes**

You cannot edit the items within an Invoice if it is marked as "Ready for client to pay" - Toggle off the "Ready for client to pay" to edit any items and toggle it back on again!

You cannot edit the items within an Invoice once it has been marked as paid. This includes partial payments. If you need to change a product name, you can do so within the Product Catalog which will automatically change the name within the Invoice.

If you need any additional support, click the question mark in the upper right-hand corner to chat with a member of our team.
