How to open the Mobile Clipper
There are multiple ways to open the in-app clipper. On your mobile device by sharing the link or by entering the mobile app first and then navigating to the website.
***Note***: If you do not see these options, please ensure your Mydoma App and Phone/Tablet are fully up to date. This may also require you to restart your device.
Important things to know:
If you share from the browser, you want to make sure that you do not have the clipper open in the app itself. It will default to what you were originally clipping in the app instead of taking the link you are sharing.
If you are sharing a link from a trade account, it is important to note that when the link is opened in the clipper, you may be taken to the home page or login page, instead of the specific page you intended to share. This is because the link may require you to be logged in to access the content.
The same thing can happen if you share the link in a new browser where you are not logged in. However, the mobile app may not recognize that you are logged in to your trade account, even if you are logged in on your mobile browser.
To avoid this issue for trade accounts, it is recommended to open the mobile app, select the clipper option, and then search for the website you want to clip from. From there, you can log into your account and navigate the site as usual. This way, you can ensure that you are clipping the correct page and that the app will also be able to access the content you intended to clip.
Android Share from Browser:
When you are on an android phone you will open chrome and navigate to the product you would like to clip. From here you will select the more menu (3-dots) at the very top right.

This will then open the link in the mobile app and you will be able to start clipping!

Then you will need to scroll down to find the catalogs.
Then you will select the "Products" Catalog.
In the Product catalog you will see a + icon at the bottom right. This allows you to add an item to the product catalog.

Once you select this option, this will open the clipper and allow you to enter a URL to start clipping.
How to use the Mobile Clipper
If you did not share the link to the clipper you will need to enter a website in the field "Website." You do have the option to add this site as a Favorite site, to have a shortcut for next time!
You are able to navigate the site like normal and find the product you would like to clip. Once you are ready to clip, you will select "Clip item" at the bottom right of your screen.

To add a Tag, you will select the tag icon and then search/scroll through the tags and select what you would like to be added.
Again, if you add a tag here and add the product to a project, the tag will be applied in the project.
Once you are happy with what you have selected you will select "Add Product."
When you add the product it will give you a green notification confirming it was added! You will see the item listed in the product catalog no matter if you added the item to a Project/Package.
When you navigate to the products and services of a Project/Package that you added the item to it will be listed at the top.
If you select to edit the product or scroll to the tags, you will also see that the tag is applied here!
