Why is my vendor not showing to create an order?

Learn why you are unable to create an order and the system says the Vendor doesn't exist even when you actually have that vendor in Mydoma

If you are trying to create an order and the vendor you want is not showing as an option, you will want to check that you have added the product or service you want to the project first. If the item is in your project, check that the vendor has been tied to the product or service you are trying to add.


Please follow the process here to attach a Vendor to the Service and/or Product added to a project.

Service:

To add a vendor to the service, if you select the pencil icon at the top right there will then be a pop up. If you are in table view you will select the more menu (3-dots) on the far left of the Service and select to edit.

From here you can assign the vendor on the top left of the pop-up.


Product:
Works similarly, but not quite. To add a vendor to the product, if you select the pencil icon at the top right there will then be a pop up. If you are in table view you will select the more menu (3-dots) on the far left of the Product and select to edit.

From here you will select "edit base product." This will help you update the Product globally in the Studio, therefore if you had added the same product to a different project it will update it for that project as well, so you don't run into the same issue when creating an order in another project.

This will open a new pop-up and you will select "specs" at the top and then you are able to set the vendor here.
