Mydoma and QuickBooks Clients

  • QuickBooks Naming Convention: In QuickBooks, the naming convention for clients is to enter the first name and last name in the same field. Additionally, include the client's phone number and email.

  • Mydoma Studio Client Naming Convention: In Mydoma Studio, clients are also required to have a first name, last name, email, and phone number.

If you have a new client, please ensure that you create the client first in Mydoma Studio using the following information:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email

    • Phone number

By entering these details in Mydoma Studio, the information will be automatically transferred to QuickBooks when you export the first invoice for this client. This synchronization helps maintain accurate client data across both platforms.

💡💡 Pro Tip: Please ensure that your clients in Mydoma Studio have unique names and emails. By doing so you’ll ensure that your data is exported and synced correctly in QuickBooks. 💡💡
