Creating a Client Profile
In order to share your project with a client through your studio, you'll need to create a Client Profile for them.
First things first, we’re going to click on the Clients icon in your studio menu.
That's going to take us to our Client page where you will click Add Client. On a computer this option will be in the action bar just above your client list. On a tablet or phone this may be on the bottom right corner as a +.
You must include a first name, last name, and a unique email address (the email cannot have been used anywhere else in your studio). Adding a phone number is optional, as are selecting a client type, client source, and/or adding tags.
Click the Add button to simply add the new client OR click the down carrot beside the Add button and choose from one of three options:
Add & invite
Add & open
Add & create new (this is especially helpful when you need to quickly create several new clients and/or leads at once)
If you add and invite the client, their studio access will be listed as Invited.
If you only added the client, their studio access will be listed as Inactive and you will need to open their profile to invite them.
You can fill out the client's information by selecting the pencil icon and add any public notes in the Notes section.
If you'd like to also keep track of birthdays, anniversaries or something similar--really anything you want-- you can click the pencil icon then Add Custom Field in the left-hand side of the pop-up window.
Click on the ADD Custom Field, type the name of the field, designate what type of field it is. If you want this to be applied to all users, click the square beside Apply to all clients. Once you have it the way you'd like, click Save.
From this window, you can select a Welcome Video and a Client Message.
You can choose from a number of Welcome Video Templates or you can paste a link to your own custom recorded video.
You can do the same for the Custom Welcome Message. You can choose from one of the templates or write your own custom message to the client.
If you need any additional support, click the question mark in the upper right-hand corner to chat with a member of our team.
