To import tasks from Asana or Instagantt you will first select your studio name/logomark at the top left, then select "Studio Settings."

Next, you will select the Import/Export tab, and select "Import" to the right of where you are importing from.

Asana

To export the tasks from Asana:

  • Log into your Asana account and open the project you wish to export.

  • Click on the project action menu.

  • On the drop-down menu, hover over “Export/Print”.

  • Select CSV.

Asana exports tasks as a CSV file. You do not need to make any changes to the file, just drag and drop, or select it from your computer files.

Instagantt

To export the tasks from Instagantt:

  • Select Export & Share at the top left

  • Click on Export as Spreadsheet

  • For the Gantt chart export, the menu will let you choose the columns you want to include in your spreadsheet. Once you are done selecting the columns you want to add to your spreadsheet, click on the Generate button. Wait a few seconds and a Download button will appear.

  • For the Workload export, you will be able to select the date format and the export will include not the tasks, but the Estimated Hours assigned to each user on your project, very similar to the Workload view.

Instagantt exports their tasks as an xls or an xlsx. You do not need to make any changes to the file, just drag and drop, or select it from your computer files.

Once you have selected the files you will select "Upload" to finalize the import.

This will then show you a notification at the bottom left that will take you to your task manager to review the imported tasks
