What are Tags?

Tags are a great way to customize your Views within the Products & Services tab to tell the system how you want the products sorted within the Project. You can sort by Category, Vendors, Types (Products, Services, or Custom Products), and Status (None, Proposed, Invoiced, and Ordered) already.

**Note** The tags in the Products & Services are different than those in your Product Catalog or the ones you add through your Product Clipper. Tags you add from your Product Clipper are the same within the Product Catalog to help you filter through the products you've added to your library.

Here are some examples of tags you could create in the Products & Services tab:

  • By room - Living Room, Bathroom, Kitchen, etc.

  • By options - Option 1, Option 2, Option 3, and on...

  • Fixtures, Finishes & Equipment - Plumbing, Lighting, Exterior Finish, Interior Finish, etc.

  • By order status - Ordered, Damaged, Delivered, Backordered, etc.

  • And more!

How do I create or apply a Tag?

Open the project you wish to work on and go to your Products & Services tab. In each Product, Service, and Custom Product there will be a "Tags" icon in the mid-right section of the item.

The pop-up will allow you to click and select a tag you've already created or create a new one!

To add a tag you've already created, you can scroll through the list of tags or type a tag name in the "Search or create a new tag" field.

Once you find the one you're looking for, click on the tag to apply it! From there you can clear the search field to add any other tags you'd like or simply click outside of the tag pop-up to exit.

To create a new tag, type a tag name in the "Search or create a new tag" field. Then click "Create."

How do I edit a Tag?

Click the "Tags" in the mid-right section of the item.

Scroll through the list of tags or type the tag name in the "Search or create a new tag" field to find the tag you wish to edit.

Then click the three dots next to the tag.

From here you can edit the name or color of a tag. Simply click outside of the tag pop-up to exit.

How do I remove a Tag from Products or Services?

Click the "Tags" icon in the mid-right section of an item.

Click the " x " next to the tag you'd like to remove from a Product, Service, or Custom Product.

How to archive Tags

Click the "Tags" icon in the mid-right section of an item.

Scroll through the list of tags or type the tag name in the "Search or create a new tag" field to find the tag you wish to archive. Then click the three dots next to the tag.

Click "Archive."

To find your archived tags, go to Studio Settings. From your logo mark, business name, or cog-wheel icon in the upper left-hand navigation menu.

Click "Studio tags."

From here you can edit tags, or archive/unarchive them.
