List Notes

If you wish to create a standalone check list you will chose the option " Add List Note"

With the lists you can name the list at the top and add the list items just below. To move to a new line after you have typed the first you will press the enter key on your keyboard. On the right of each line: you can check items off your list, use the trash can to delete items you no longer wish to be on the list, or use the 2 lines to drag and drop items to be in different placements.

The notes can be color coded as well to keep track of your stuff and can be moved around like cards in a project management tool. You can archive a note that is no longer required or for any reason if you don't want to view it by selecting the three dots at the top right of a note and choosing archive. Just about like anything else in Mydoma, your Notes once archived can be unarchived if need be.

Should you need you clients to be able to view or edit notes that you have, you may give them permission to individual notes by selecting the check boxes at the bottom right.

Your notes also has information about when and by whom it was created and who last updated it.

Text Notes

You can add project related notes and checklists in your Studio. You will need to make sure that the function is turned on in your project features in order to do this. You can also control the clients visibility and providing client editing controls too for your Notes and checklist.

To add a general note, you will select "Add Text Note." From here it will open your new note, and you can create a title for the note and format different things inside. Starting with the first, we all make mistakes sometimes and accidentally delete something we shouldn't have or simply want to undo what we just did. You have the option to undo multiple times with the arrow pointing left, or redo with the arrow pointing right.

Formatting Key

With all of the following actions you will select what you want to do to the text before you type out what you want to say.

๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’กPro Tip: To add formatting to things you previously typed you can select text by clicking - hold - dragging to highlight the text you want to apply formatting to. Then you may select the actions you want to apply to it. ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก

First, you have your normal font size (Default), Bold (B), italics (I), and underline (U). The T with a horizontal line through it, is to cross out what is typed. This is shown in the words "Step 4" on the image below.

You also have the options to change the color of text with the painter's pallet. Or you are able to highlight selected text with the paint bucket. To look at the other color options you will click on the circles and drag left or right. Once you have selected a color you may choose a shade. Again you can click and drag, but the rectangles this time, to see more shade options.

The T with a diagonal slash through it is to undo all formatting to what is selected.

Sometimes you may want to have a bigger emphasis on something, or have a header to break your notes down better. That is where this next group comes in handy. You can use these settings to help make text larger or smaller. N is for normal text, H1 is header 1, H2 is header 2, and H3 is header 3. You can see the size difference and how they compare just below.

While you can make checklists on their own, sometimes it is nice to include steps, bullets, or check boxes mixed in your notes. The first option is to list things by numbers. Next is to have bullet points. Last is to add in check boxes that you can in fact check off!

Next we have quotation. This will indent the text and have a gray line on the left to show where the quote starts and ends.

Finally we have the ability to hyperlink. First you will type out what you want the Hyper link to look like. Then you will highlight it and select the chain link icon. From here it will triple check that the word you selected is what you want to hyperlink and you will paste the hyperlink in the second field. Last click "ok" to save it.

You can now add project related notes and checklists in your Studio. The function is pretty similar to Space Notes also, in addition to the clients visibility and providing client editing controls too for your Notes and checklist.

The notes can be color coded as well to keep track of your stuff and can be moved around like cards in a project management tool. You can archive a note it is no longer required or for any reason if you don't want to view it. Just about like anything else in Mydoma, your Notes once archived can be unarchived if need be.
